Remain Free was written with three primary goals in mind:

  • To raise awareness of the flaws and injustices in our criminal justice system;
  • To humanize Troy Davis, heretofore known only as a caricature at the center of the I Am Troy Davis movement;
  • To share a deeper, more nuanced details about his case and the Troy Davis movement that were never shared in the media.

To that end, the entire book will be serialized online for free, with a new segment posted every Friday. The hardcover version of the book can be purchased on Amazon, and all author profits will be donated to the Innocence Project.
